The American Festival Series (AFS) is intended to be accessible to medium to large corps bands. AFS selections may include devotional music suitable for Sunday worship, bright concert openers, classical transcriptions, congregational song accompaniments, as well as selections and larger-scale works suitable for concerts and festivals.

 

The American Festival Series uses standard Salvation Army General Series (GS) scoring at a level equivalent ranging from AIES Level Four to high-level General Series. Five pieces are released annually with bass clef parts provided for each selection.
